A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 131 - 131 Ch. 131 Quinn Couldn’t Accept The Fact

Richard enjoyed his wife’s jealousy and let Anxia claim in front of Quinn that Richard was hers.

After what felt like an eternity, the two decided to end their fondling. Right now, their top priority was Lori, who needed the antidote.

“I’ll wait for you in the car,” Anxia whispered on tiptoe to bring her mouth close to Richard’s ear. Apart from whispering the words, Anxia also gave her husband a brief kiss.

For a moment, Richard ignored Quinn and turned to Anxia, who was walking out. She preferred to enjoy his wife’s beauty rather than shift his attention to his two-faced, cunning cousin.

“Richie,” her pathetic voice failed to gain Richard’s sympathy. If only Quinn hadn’t touched his daughter, maybe he could still sympathize and show mercy, considering their relationship had existed for more than ten years.

But the girl dug her grave by giving poison to Lori. There was no longer any affection lingering for Quinn, whom he once considered a sister.

If Quinn weren’t Andrew Heinest’s little sister or Leonard Heinest’s daughter, Richard would have left her alone here, let her rotten in this kind of place.

But he was still willing to take care of her due to his respect for the girl’s father and brother. Richard walked over to lower the rope hanging Quinn’s body.

.....

He lowered the girl slowly so Quinn’s head wouldn’t hit the floor hard. After making sure Quinn was lying on the floor without a heavy impact, Richard threw away the rope he was holding and walked closer but kept his distance from the girl.

“I’ve told Andrew about this. He sent someone to pick you up.”

“Richie, why? Why did you have the heart to let her hurt me?”

“I can ask the same. How could you harm an innocent child? And that child is my baby.” Richard was no longer angry, and his tone of voice had no trace of anger.

“You’re on her side? How did you get to marry that crazy woman? Why are you willing to give her a child instead of me? Why?” the tears continued to roll down her cheeks, and Richard didn’t feel the least bit sorry.

“Because I love her.”

Richard’s short answer was able to stab Quinn’s heart, which was already fragile due to the threat of Anxia’s knife throwing, to shatter into pieces.

As far as she could remember, Richard had never confessed his love to any girl. Richard did like to charm girls and enjoy the adoring glances from girls, but the man never crossed the line.

In this world, Quinn alone is the only girl who can touch him and spend time with him. Even though Richard only thought of her as a younger cousin, in the eyes of her and her friends, Quinn was Richard’s lover.

Both of them knew that they were not related by blood. If they fell in love, they could get married at any time, and both of their parents would surely give their blessing. Not to mention, Quinn was confident that she would win Richard’s heart one day.

Quinn thought their bond would never change, and instead of stepping backward, their relationship would advance. Alas, Richard avoided her one day for no reason, forcing Quinn to target Raymond only before the man got married.

As a result, Quinn shifted her target back and tried her best to get to Richard. However, she couldn’t be patient this time, fearing another girl would steal Richard from her, yet she needed to act quickly.

Quinn cunningly begged Richard to be her fake lover as she told lies about some weird guys who tried to flirt with her. As kind as he was, Richard granted her wish only to protect her, but he always invited Andrew to every one of their dates.

In the end, two years ago, Quinn had boldly stepped into the next stage. She took a semi-drunk Richard into a closed room and seduced him into having sex with her. At that time, Quinn didn’t mind if Richard would hate her after they did the deed. The only thing she needed was his baby.

At first, her plan had gone smoothly, and Richard had touched her with the same passion. She could see the desire overwhelming Richard and noticed it in his eyes. But seconds later, Richard pushed her away and got his sanity back.

Quinn couldn’t accept that Richard had fallen in love with another girl besides herself. She was the most beautiful, and she felt sure that no woman in this world could match her beauty.

But why...

Why did Richard prefer that ugly girl? That lowly eastern girl didn’t even have half of her beauty. Plus, Anxia’s temperament was nasty, and the woman’s ability to throw knives was also offensive, indicating that Anxia was not normal.

Why did Richard prefer a woman like that?

Love?

How could a man like Richard love a psychopathic girl who laughs at her painful screams?

“Why? What does she have that I don’t have? Why did you fall in love with her?” Quinn still hasn’t given up because the confession of the man who has been her target for years doesn’t make sense.

Richard was not in the mood to answer her, so he turned away to leave Quinn, who was sobbing more and more.

Right when Richard came out of this uninhabited building, another car arrived and stopped right in front of him. A man and woman got out of the car shortly after. Richard recognized the woman who had been Quinn’s attendant for years but did not recognize the man driving the car.

The two of them bowed respectfully as soon as they saw Richard, while Richard only muttered in the affirmative.

After that, ignoring the unknown driver, Richard walked towards his car, where his wife and daughter were, without noticing the mysterious glance the driver was giving him.
