A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 259 - 259 Ch. 259 Anxia’s Frustration

Elliot’s crying subsided not long after, and now the atmosphere returned to silence. Anxia thought her son had fallen asleep as there was no reaction after Elliot stopped crying.

When Anxia lowered her head and tilted her face to look at her son’s face, she could see that his black eyes were still exposed. Anxia still hugged her son and started interrogating Mei Yin about what had happened.

“Who is it? Why did he make my son cry?”

“It’s just like he said. He was your mother’s right-hand man, and also… that man was your mother’s lover.”

Anxia’s brow furrowed; she didn’t like hearing this. Getting the news that Loraine Shu was her biological mother was already a heavy blow for her, and now she heard that her mother had a lover while her husband was still alive. Furthermore... if that man was Loraine’s secret lover, then...

“Mei Yin, why didn’t you tell me from the start?”

“Ha?”

If she had known that the person she had just met was the one who had threatened Elliot, Anxia would have killed that man first!

.....

“No matter what, don’t let that person see Elliot again!” Anxia hissed, barely able to control her emotions like a fire devoured ten acres of forest.

Even Mei Yin, who was not afraid of Song Lei’s threatening aura, shuddered at the sight of Anxia’s blazing sharp eyes.

‘I would not mess around with an angry mother,’ Mei Yin thought silently. “That… is a bit difficult.”

“What do you mean?”

“Did you forget you agreed to sneak into Regnz’s house? Your mother told me to accompany you.”

Anxia’s jaw tightened upon hearing this. If she and Mei Yin got out of this place and left Elliot in the snake nest alone… Anxia doubted she would be able to meet Elliot the next day, and she couldn’t count on Jamie to protect Elliot because the poor woman didn’t have the power or air of confidence like Mei Yin.

What should she do? She had to ask Loraine to let Mei Yin stay here.

Anxia decides to see her mother and entrusts Elliot’s safety to Mei Yin.

As she expected, her mother refused to hear about it and insisted on sending Mei Yin to join her team.

“I can do it myself. Mei Yin doesn’t need to accompany me.”

“I know you don’t need anyone else’s help, but I can’t believe you wouldn’t do something to trick me.”

“What do you mean?”

“Xiao Xia, you’ve been acting cold towards me lately and trying to go against my plans. I know you love your husband very much and are not willing to disturb your husband’s brother’s private life. I can’t believe you’re going to do this mission right. You even tried to take my grandson from me.”

“He is my son!” Anxia growled, looking at her mother angrily. “You’re the first to take my son away from me!!” No matter how Anxia roared at her mother, Loraine Shu remained indifferent, as if her words were insignificant.

Anxia groaned in frustration but managed to calm herself down. “If you don’t want to be separated from your grandson, you can come with me to London. You don’t even want to accept my offer but accuse me of taking your grandson. Then how about you? You took the child I gave birth to from my hands and deceived me these five years, making me think I only gave birth to one child. You can’t believe me? I can’t even trust you.”

Anxia’s gaze toward her mother was the fiercest gaze she had ever shown before. When she was still Master Yu’s assassin, Anxia never showed any expression when she killed her target. She only gave a satisfied grin when she heard her victim scream and beg her for mercy.

She was even sure she didn’t hate Richard now as much as she had hated Richard two years ago. At that time, she had repeatedly tried to harm Richard, and that man often frustrated her, and she despised him even more. But Richard wasn’t her mother.

Initially, the man was just a tool for her revenge plan before she fell in love. That’s why Anxia could forget her hatred once she opened her heart to that man.

But another story if that person was her mother. The biological mother who gave birth to her and took care of her before her father was dishonorably discharged. This woman had the heart to separate her from her son, and Anxia was sure this woman knew what Song Lei had done to hurt her grandson.

What’s more, what makes her hate her mother even more is...

Anxia took a piece of paper she had brought from the Russian doctor’s house and placed it roughly on her mother’s reading table.

“Are you really my mother? I wish I didn’t have a mother like you.”

Loraine glanced at the slightly crumpled paper in surprise. “What’s this?”

“Tell me. Were you the one who ordered my obstetrician to destroy my uterus?”

Loraine’s eyes widened at that. “How did you...” a pair of lips that had been open immediately closed tightly as soon as they realized the merciless ferocious gaze from her daughter’s direction.

“WHY? WHY DID YOU DO IT?!”

If this place were her home in Kensington, Anxia probably wouldn’t be able to hold back her tears. She was too angry, heartbroken, and disappointed in her mother.

She might be able to forgive her mother by tricking her and hiding Elliot’s whereabouts from her. She understood her mother’s reason for worrying that Anxia could not protect and care for two children simultaneously.

Anxia had even prepared herself to accept her mother as she was when she heard from a Russian doctor that Loraine Shu was her birth mother.

But… she couldn’t accept that her mother had bribed her obstetrician to incise a scar on her uterus!

Because of the wound, now she can no longer have children. Because she couldn’t conceive, she cried all night with her husband to grieve and had to see the cloudy look on their daughter.

Anxia and Richard had accepted this fact and had agreed not to get caught up in their grief. Richard didn’t blame her, but Anxia blamed herself for thinking all this was karma from her past.

But who would have thought... it turns out her mother was the mastermind behind the damage to her uterus.

No one knew how much effort Anxia had not gotten out of control and attacked the woman directly. If Loraine Shu had not been her birth mother… there was no doubt this woman would have lay lifeless the second Anxia returned here.
