A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 303 - 303 Ch. 303 Cerberus’s Plan

“I don’t use them, but your affection for them.” Richard held Anxia’s hands gently, “These hands no longer take human lives since the twins had brought to this world. Why do you want to destroy it?”

“If you were in my shoes―if you knew that someone cornered your parents and made them live a miserable life, would you let that person off?”

“No, but I’m still going to let him live. I will make his life hell until he wishes he was never born. The best revenge is to show that person that you are living happily without fear of facing their attack,” stated Richard as he folded his arms in front of his chest, leaving Anxia speechless.

“Why do I feel… you already have the plan to get back at that person?”

“You seem to have forgotten one thing, love.” teased Richard, wrapping an arm around his wife’s waist to pull her body closer to him. “I am your husband and also Cerberus’s leader.”

Anxia’s almost unbreakable wrath calmed upon hearing the last words. “And I don’t think you’ll involve me in your plan?” Anxia guessed, considering her husband didn’t say anything about his plans.

“I will tell you if you ask. When have I never given you an answer when you asked me?”

Anxia pursed her lips as if to show her husband she was cranky. “How can I ask something I don’t know? You are unreasonable.”

.....

Richard chuckled at his wife’s suggestion and leaned forward slightly to kiss Anxia’s lips. “Didn’t I tell you to count on me?”

“But I still want to go to Hong Kong and meet my grandfather in China.”

“I understand you want to go to China, but why Hong Kong too?”

“I want to find out where my mother is buried.”

Richard stared intently into his wife’s eyes as if trying to find out whether Anxia meant what she said or was using her mother’s grave as an excuse to come to Hong Kong.

When he no longer sensed the hatred or her strong killing aura, Richard nodded his head. “Okay. We can go to Hong Kong after we catch Yu Long.”

Anxia looked disappointed to hear that, but she didn’t argue and agreed with her husband’s words.

“Sometimes I wish you couldn’t read my mind.” Anxia buried her face into her husband’s broad chest for peace. Just in her husband’s arms, Anxia felt calm and peaceful no matter how much pressure she was under.

Meanwhile, Richard laughed in amusement as he tightened his arms to hug his wife. “I can’t read your mind, but I know your thoughts. I have fallen in love with a former assassin and married her. If I didn’t understand your thinking, you would’ve left me, wouldn’t you?”

Anxia rolled her eyes lazily, but she also smiled amusedly when she remembered how many times she had tried to run away from Richard at the beginning of their marriage.

All her attempts to escape and want to make Richard hate her failed miserably. Instead, Richard caught her and made her want to stay with this man.

“Richie, will you tell me your plan to catch that man if I ask?”

“Of course,” Richard answered without hesitation. “How about we go back to the others to talk about this? After all, I also need them to sneak into the Luen group’s headquarters.”

Anxia let Richard hold her hand, and they returned to Mei Yin and Xue Min, where both were hugging each other. Then Richard explained his plan to them, and Anxia, ??Mei Yin, and Xue Min listened seriously.

After each understood their task, they returned to the tents on top of the hill to rest. Only Richard couldn’t sleep and stood on the hill’s edge gazing at the night view of the entire city below.

Not long after that, someone suddenly appeared behind him and walked over to him to stand next to him. Richard already knew who was standing beside him without looking to the side.

“Thank you for your help. But you don’t have to kill him.”

“A man like that... if I didn’t kill him, it would be more annoying to handle in the future. I’m different from you, Richie―I prefer certainty, and killing him is a foolproof way to keep that person from bothering any of you anymore.”

“If other people heard about it, they wouldn’t think this is the first time you’ve killed someone.”

“Song Lei was not my first victim.”

“...” Richard glanced at his cousin with an astonished look. Since when did Kendrich Alvianch have a cold heart? Not to mention, his happy-go-lucky cousin looked different from what he remembered.

As far as he could remember, Kendrich was a person who liked to play games and was ignorant of those around him. The young lad was more like him, who enjoyed seeking attention and would disappear once their father caught his mischief.

But now… for some reason, the lad’s aura had changed.

“Kenken, you have changed.”

Kendrich snorted at that. “People will change when they find what they want to protect.” he turned to his cousin and patted Richard on the shoulder once.

“Tell me when your revenge plan is done. I want to meet your wife and children officially. You never introduced us; even Meli started not wanting to talk about you at home.”

Richard chuckled at that. “Okay. I’m taking my family to visit New York this year. What do you think?”

“Good idea. I’ll be waiting for you guys. Then I will go home.”

“Why so fast?”

“Someone is waiting for me at home.” continued Kendrich in a humorous tone, winking one eye.

Not long after, a platinum-haired teenage boy appeared and smiled at him. “Hi, Uncle Richard.”

Richard returned the smile before the boy snapped his fingers, and the two disappeared in the blink of an eye.

For moments like this alone, Richard was grateful that he had a family member as a nature ruler.
