Love So Sweet

Chapter 105

However, Fang Su Jin found that she could not be at ease.

As she continued to whisper a few words with her friend, Fang Su Jin noticed that something doesn’t feel right.

She raised her head and met Zhang Yi Hai’s gaze through the rear mirror. Panicked, Fang Su Jin looked away to avoid his gaze.

Her heartbeat accelerated as she wondered why was Zhang Yi Hai frowning at her.

Could it be that he had figured out how she had helped his sister make up a lie and now he wasn’t happy with it?

If it was right... Fang Su Jin began to feel scared of her fate. She did not know what the man would do to get his revenge.

Her body started to shiver involuntarily.

“Su Jin, what’s wrong?” Zhang Li Xue began to worry when she saw her friend’s expression.

.....

Fang Su Jin only shook her head. As she finally recalled something, Fang Su Jin took out her phone and started to type. Instead of pressing the send button, she turned to Zhang Li Xue, showing her what was on it.

‘Li Xue, how did you get off from your brother the other day?’

Zhang Li Xue pondered over her friend’s words. Then, she saw Fang Su Jin pull out her phone and began to type a few new words.

‘You know, on the day that you went to that reunion. Didn’t your brother call to check on you?’

It was only then that Zhang Li Xue remembered such a matter.

She intended to tell Fang Su Jin about her lies, but for the past few days, she was in a bad mood because a certain someone did not want to be friends with her. In the end, she had forgotten all about it.

Now that Fang Su Jin had brought up the matter, Zhang Li Xue finally remember that she had to tell Fang Su Jin about her lies before her brother would suspect something.

Zhang Li Xue opened her mouth to speak. But realizing that her brother was in the car with them, She then took out her phone and typed the messages.

‘I told him that I was hanging out with you.’

Fang Su Jin frowned. She did not think that Zhang Yi Hai would be that easy to fool.

Then, Zhang Li Xue typed again,

‘I told him that you broke up with your boyfriend and needed someone as emotional support. My brother didn’t ask further questions.’

Fang Su Jin stared at her friend speechlessly. She wondered why would Zhang Yi Hai believed these lies easily. Then, she recalled how she has been crying after watching a drama on that day. Zhang Yi Hai called her to check on his sister, but then, he heard her hoarse voice.

‘Su Jin, I owe you this. Tell me what request you have. I will try my best to help you.’

Fang Su Jin narrowed her eyes dangerously. “Li Xue, you are so going to accompany me to an art exhibition.”

Her face stiffened for a few seconds. Then, Zhang Li Xue began to nod obediently. “Alright. Whatever you say, Su Jin.” She did not understand art and did not enjoy going to an exhibition. The only reason she would ever show up at an exhibition was because of her friend.

“Also, you are coming to accompany me to this new vegetarian restaurant,” Fang Su Jin whispered. Then, her lips turned into a proud smile.

Zhang Li Xue stared at her friend in disbelief. She understood quickly that her friend was punishing her for those lies by making her go to an exhibition and eat vegetarian food.

However, it was indeed her fault to make up lies without asking for Fang Su Jin’s opinion first.

She could only accept this type of punishment with a smile.

After almost three hours of driving, Zhang Yi Hai finally pulled over the car at the hotel they booked.

The girls alighted and started to look around their surroundings. Then, Zhang Li Xue quickly pulled Fang Su Jin into the hotel.

“Sister!”

Hearing the familiar voice, Zhang Li Xue turned around and saw the triplets hanging around in the lobby lounge.

The three of them were taking another car and had arrived a few minutes earlier.

“Sister, you’re here,” Wei Zi Ming spoke. He waved his hands to his siblings and greeted their sister and her friend politely. Then, he looked around and asked, “Where’s Brother Yi Hai?”

“He should be outside, looking for a parking spot.”

Wei Zi Ming turned to his brothers and signaled them to go and help Zhang Yi Hai with their luggage.

“We already helped you with your check-in,” Wei Zi Ming said. He took out the keys and handed over the card after checking the room number. “You can go ahead and check your room. We’ll come over with your luggage after this.”

Her eyes lit up. “Zi Ming, thank you. You are the best.”

The boy smiled happily. “Go ahead and have a rest. Later, we’ll have lunch together, alright? We already asked around which restaurant is the best.”

Zhang Li Xue nodded.

Just in time, a group of men in their office attire walked out of the elevator and walked over to the coffee house.

Zhang Li Xue glanced at the group and noticed the lanyard hung around their neck. Judging from the way they acted, they looked like a group of professionals.

“I heard that there is some kind of convention held in this hotel,” Wei Zi Ming spoke as he followed Zhang Li Xue’s line of gaze. “But don’t worry. The group was staying in another wing. We probably would not run into them.”

Zhang Li Xue shrugged. “Since they are here for a convention, they wouldn’t have time to walk around the beach, right? This is fine too. Maybe we can dominate the place and play to our heart’s content.”

Wei Zi Ming laughed before sending Zhang Li Xue and her friend to the elevator.
