Love So Sweet

Chapter 208

“Miss Fang, we need to talk.”

“Mika, I hope that you can respect me,” Fang Su Jin spoke coldly. “Release me.”

Her tone made Mika drop his grip around her wrist. Mika narrowed his eyes as he continued to look at Fang Su Jin. “Why? You should at least give me a reason.”

“I have already told you my decision,” Fang Su Jin said. “Currently, I don’t think that I am good enough to have an exhibition in F Country.”

His eyes narrowed. Mika did not seem to believe in Fang Su Jin’s words. In his mind, he thought that Fang Su Jin was going to work with someone else.

A while ago, he had talked to Teacher Jiang and he could feel that he might have the chance to work together with them.

However, Fang Su Jin suddenly told him that she won’t be working together with him.

Mika recalled the number of visitors who came to look at Fang Su Jin’s paintings. The identity of the visitors was not that simple either.

.....

Although he was an F Country citizen, it doesn’t mean that he was ignorant. He knew that Fang Su Jin had big supporters behind her.

If Fang Su Jin had an exhibition in F Country under him, Mika would be able to enjoy the perks as well. Those big names and influential people would come to look for him.

Mika knew that if he missed this opportunity to work with Fang Su Jin, it would be difficult for him to coax her again. Once she became famous, she would want to work with another agent.

This was the talent that he had found.

Whatever it is, he had already made his decision not to return to F Country before he could make Fang Su Jin agree.

“Miss Fang, why don’t you think again?” Mika asked. His lips curled into a smile that did not reach his eyes. “Before you think things through, I can’t let you leave.”

Fang Su Jin gave him a look over. “Are you threatening me?”

The man laughed. “Of course, not. Aren’t we properly discussing things?”

“No matter what, my decision remained the same,” Fang Su Jin said. “I am not going to F Country. You could think that the timing isn’t that suitable for me. If I changed my mind, my teacher and I will look for you again. I hope that I make things clear for you.” Fang Su Jin gave him a nod before she turned around to leave.

This time, Mika grabbed her wrist again. The man tugged at her hand a little too hard until her nose bumped into his chest.

Her nose was so much in pain that tears pooled in her eyes.

Fang Su Jin stared back at Mika angrily. However, in Mika’s eyes, the look on Fang Su Jin’s face was too adorable. He could not help wanting to pinch her cheek.

His touch on her cheek as well as the look in his eyes made her feel disgusted. Fang Su Jin tried to wriggle her way out again. But Mika only held her tighter.

“Release me.” Fang Su Jin hissed under her breath.

Mika lowered his head closer as he looked into her moist eyes. “Miss Fang, even if we could not work together, we can at least stay as friends, can’t we?”

The man was too close to her that Fang Su Jin could feel his breath against her skin.

Fang Su Jin’s face turned red with anger. She bit Mika’s hand hard until he screamed in pain and finally released her.

Mika stared at the mark on his hand. Subconsciously, he grabbed her hair with one hand and swung his other hand, wanting to slap her. “You bitch!”

His movement halted and he realized that someone had grabbed his hand ti stop him.

“Let her go.”

A familiar voice was heard coming from her back.

Mika loosened his grip and Fang Su Jin took this chance to escape his grip. When she turned around, Fang Su Jin found Zhang Yi Hai standing behind her.

Their gazes met briefly and Fang Su Jin quickly ran over to hide behind him. Zhang Yi Hai was her only chance to escape.

“Are you alright?” Zhang Yi Hai asked without breaking his eye contact with Mika.

“I’m fine.” Fang Su Jin nodded. Subconsciously, she held the corner of Zhang Yi Hai’s shirt as she peeked at Mika.

At this time, the scary younger brother was the only person who she would feel safe with.

Mika flashed a smile that did not reach his eyes. “Young man, this is only an argument between lovers. Don’t get yourself into our private matters, hmm?”

“Don’t listen to him,” Fang Su Jin answered quickly. “Yi Hai, I don’t know him that well.”

Lovers? What nonsense!

The look on Mika’s face changed when he realized that both Fang Su Jin and this young man know each other.

“You have ten seconds to leave. Otherwise, I will call the police,” Zhang Yi Hai said. He glanced to his right and spoke, “Tang Yin.”

“I’m on it.”

It was then that both Mika and Fang Su Jin realized that Zhang Yi Hai did not come alone. He had brought over two friends with him.

Noticing that the situation was not on his side, Mika raised both hands before he slowly took a few steps backward. He gave one final look at Fang Su Jin before turning around to leave.

Zhang Yi Hai waited until he could no longer see Mika’s silhouette before he turned to Fang Su Jin again. He gave her a look over and let out a breath of relief upon finding that she was without harm.

Their gazes met.

The first thing he saw was the tears that pooled in her eyes.

Sister Fang was crying again.

How terrified she must be that she started to cry?

If he came a little too late, then what would happen to her?

His heart was aching.

Worried that Fang Su Jin would bawl her eyes out, Zhang Yi Hai stretched his arms and gathered the person into his embrace. His hand patted her shoulder awkwardly as he tried to coax her. “Be good. Don’t cry. You are safe now. That person would not be able to harm you anymore.”
